Details of DDA Rohini Housing Scheme 1981
DDA is working on developing this area fast. The contractors are increasingly working to make sewer lines, water pipelines, electricity, plots and road construction etc. The work is expected to be completed by December. Once the work is done, DDA will issue the allotment letters to 14 thousand people, who have been waiting for the plot for the past 36 years. They said that work is going on between the security of the police in the dispute over which there was a dispute.
These sectors will have a plot of 26 meters, 32 meters, and 60 meters. On the other hand, advocate Rahul Gupta, who has been advocating the Supreme Court against the DDA on this residential plan, has said that the DDA has given assurance only to the allottees in the past 36 years. Many people have died while waiting for the plot to be found. According to Rahul, the Supreme Court had ordered them to provide the plot by developing the area to 14,000 allotted till July 2016. Despite this, DDA has not yet fully developed that area, giving the plot to allotments. This has led to a case of contempt of the order of the Supreme Court which is still pending.
What is the whole case
In the year 1981, DDA had drawn a draw for giving one lakh plots under the housing scheme. Whereas, do not have so many plots. Initially, DDA gave plots to only 70 thousand people. While the case of 30 thousand people was hanging. 14 thousand allottees of the same scheme have not got the plot yet.
DDA sent the letter
Rahul Gupta said that in the last month, DDA had sent a letter to the allottees. It was stated that due to the ongoing dispute over land, they could not be plotted in the time frame decided by the Supreme Court. Therefore, it may take one year for DDA to give a plot.
