DDA Housing Scheme 2017 Draw Results to Announce by November First Week
DDA Housing Scheme 2017 Draw Results – The Delhi Development Authority has extended the DDA Housing Scheme 2017 Draw Results which was launched in June. Initially, it was expected that the authority will announce the draw result nearby Diwali i.e. 19 October,but now DDA has extended the date and now it is expected that the draw for DDA Housing Scheme2017 will be conducted in the first week of November now as the authority has not been able to collate data of applicants.

The principal commissioner (housing), Mr. J.P Aggarwal blamed on the banks for this delay in draw results. He said that agency could not conduct the draw of lots around Diwali as planned earlier due to delay in receiving compiled information from the banks that had been authorized to accept application forms. He informed that total application forms details submitted at banks might take some more time because of which the draw will not be possible around the festival.
According to the news, over 41,000 application forms were received by the authority for the allotment of 12,000 residential flats located at various locations in the capital. Under this scheme, the authority had tied up with Eight banks for the collection of the application forms collect forms for its new housing scheme. However, LG did not disclose that which of these had delayed information of applicants.
LG stated that the authority was expected that the date of the applications will reach to them soon after the scheme was closed but the banks have not submitted it yet. So, the authority is looking for some date by the end of this month or the first week of November.
According to the rules, the authority is needed to conduct the draw of lots within three months after the last date of form submission — a target, which the official said, the authority will meet.
According to the information provided by the LG, the DDA Housing Scheme 2017 Draw Results might be held at the DDA headquarters under the supervision of independent judges and experts. Besides this, he also informed that a software is being specially developed and expert agencies have been engaged for the purpose.
