DDA 12,000 Flats Scheme 2017 Launch Postponed Again
Now Delhi Development Authority (DDA) 12,000 flats new housing scheme 2017 will be launched in next month of February. Actually, the scheme was to be launched on Republic Day (Jan 26), but due to some problems, the scheme has been temporarily postponed.
The currency ban may be a reason behind the delay of the scheme on time. According to sources, the plan was to launch the scheme in January, but it has been avoided because of currency ban. Being told that due to currency ban banks were facing problems of the transaction.
However, a senior official of DDA said that the flats in some areas that was revealed a few flaws. For instance, the link road, street lights, water availability, and the lack of other services on issues that had stalled.
According to senior officials, the plan of the flats can be launched in February next month. Most of the flats in the scheme are located in Rohini, Dwarka, Narela, Vasant Kunj and Jasola locality. In this 12,000 flats scheme, about 10,000 flats are included, was launched in 2014 scheme.
The sources said that the most of the flats are one bedroom LIG, which were also involved in the previous scheme. So, it can reduce the scope of the upcoming scheme in February. It means that 10,000 flats are from old scheme.
